Sri Guru Teg Bahadur State University of Law, Punjab, established in 2020 by an Act of the Punjab state legislature, is a state law university located at Tarn Taran. The university is named after Guru Teg Bahadur — the ninth Sikh Guru and a martyr who sacrificed his life for religious freedom in 1675.
