Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University (DBALU), Rajasthan, established in 2019 by an Act of the Rajasthan state legislature, is a state law university located at Mansarovar, Jaipur. The university is named after Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar — the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and the most prominent figure in Indian legal jurisprudence. DBALU complements NLU Jodhpur (which admits through CLAT) by providing accessible legal education with state-quota seats.
Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University has departments of Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, Commercial Law, International Law, Tax Law, Cyber Law, Intellectual Property Rights and Legal Theory. Offers LLB (3-year), BA LLB (5-year), LL.M. and PhD programmes. Recognised by Bar Council of India (BCI).
