About Jain Vishva Bharati Institute
Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (JVBI), established in 1970 as a research institute and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 1991 under the UGC Act, is a private deemed university dedicated to Jain studies, non-violence, and Indian philosophy. Located at Ladnun in Nagaur district, JVBI was founded by Acharya Tulsi (Ninth Acharya of the Jain Shwetambar Terapanth) with the vision of promoting Anuvrat (small vows) movement and non-violence research.
JVBI has faculties of Jain Studies, Non-violence & Peace Studies, Yoga & Meditation (with the unique Preksha Meditation system developed by Acharya Mahapragya), Sanskrit, Prakrit, English, Hindi, Sciences (including Science of Living), Education and Social Sciences. Offers BA, MA, MPhil, PhD and Diploma programmes in these unique disciplines. NAAC accredited.
Admissions through JVBI Entrance Test or merit on Plus Two/UG marks. CUET UG/PG accepted for select programmes. PhD through JVBI PhD entrance + interview.
