About Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University (PDUSU), established in 2012 by an Act of the Rajasthan state legislature, is a state university located at Sikar in the Shekhawati region of northern Rajasthan. The university is named after Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya — the philosopher of integral humanism. PDUSU serves the Shekhawati region (Sikar, Churu and Jhunjhunu districts) — known for its painted havelis, business community (Marwari diaspora) and military traditions.

PDUSU has 14 PG teaching departments organised into faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce, Education and Management. It affiliates 75+ UG colleges across the Shekhawati region. NAAC accredited.
