About Shri Ramasamy Memorial University

SRM University, Sikkim (formerly Shri Ramaswamy Memorial University), established in 2014 by an Act of the Sikkim state legislature, is a private state university located at 5th Mile, Tadong, Gangtok. The university is part of the SRM Group of Institutions — the parent group of SRMIST Chennai and other SRM-branded universities. SRMU Sikkim is the NE-region campus of the SRM network.

SRM University Sikkim has multiple schools — Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Liberal Arts, Hotel Management and Mass Communication. Offers UG, PG and PhD programmes. Recognised by UGC under Section 2(f).
