About Sikkim State University

Sikkim State University (SSU), established in 2017 by an Act of the Sikkim state legislature, is a state-government university located at Gangtok. SSU was created to provide state-funded higher education access in Sikkim alongside the Central Sikkim University. The university focuses on multidisciplinary education with emphasis on Sikkim-specific concerns.
