About International Institute of Information Technology

International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H), established in 1998 as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 2001 under the UGC Act, is one of India's premier private deemed universities for computer science and IT research. Located at Gachibowli, Hyderabad, IIIT-H was established jointly by the Government of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and the IT industry — one of the earliest PPP universities in India.

IIIT-H has 11 research centres including Center for Visual Information Technology, Language Technology Research Centre, Robotics Research Centre, Centre for Cognitive Science, Centre for Quantum Science & Technology, IIIT-H Foundation. Offers BTech (CSE, ECE, CSD - Computer Science & Design), Dual Degree BTech-MS by research, MTech, MS by Research, and PhD in Computer Science, ECE, Computational Linguistics, Computational Natural Sciences, Cognitive Science and Building Sciences.
