About Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), established in 2014 (operational 2017) by an Act of the Telangana state legislature, is the apex state health sciences university of Telangana. Headquartered at Hanamkonda Road, Warangal, the university is named after Kaloji Narayana Rao — Telangana's prominent poet and freedom fighter (Padma Vibhushan 1992). KNRUHS regulates and conducts examinations for all medical, dental, AYUSH, nursing and pharmacy colleges in Telangana.

KNRUHS does not run colleges directly but affiliates 100+ health colleges across Telangana — MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, B.Pharm, BSc Nursing, BPT at UG; MD/MS, MDS, M.Pharm, MSc Nursing at PG; PhD in health sciences. Recognised by NMC/DCI/CCIM/PCI/INC.

Admissions through NEET UG for MBBS/BDS/AYUSH/Nursing, NEET PG for MD/MS, NEET MDS for MDS, AIAPGET for AYUSH PG — with state-quota counselling by KNRUHS for Telangana state seats.
