About Telangana University

Telangana University, established in 2006 by an Act of the then Andhra Pradesh state legislature (continued under Telangana state after 2014), is a state university located at Dichpally, Nizamabad. The university serves the northern Telangana region — Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Adilabad and Karimnagar districts.

Telangana University has 18 PG teaching departments organised into faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce, Education and Management. It affiliates 100+ UG and PG colleges. NAAC accredited.
