About Banda University of Agriculture and Technology
Banda University of Agriculture and Technology (BUAT), established in 2010 by an Act of the UP state legislature, is the youngest state agricultural university of UP. Located at Banda, the university serves the Bundelkhand region of UP (combined with Bundelkhand U Jhansi for higher education) and is the agricultural research-and-education arm.
BUAT has 3 colleges — College of Agriculture, College of Horticulture, College of Agricultural Engineering. The university focuses on dryland farming research suited to Bundelkhand's semi-arid climate. ICAR-accredited SAU.
UG admissions through UP CET-Agri (state quota 85%) and ICAR AIEEA UG (15%). PG/PhD through ICAR AIEEA PG / AICE-JRF.
