Uttar Pradesh Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan (DUVASU), established in 2001 by an Act of the UP state legislature, is the state veterinary and animal sciences university of Uttar Pradesh. Headquartered at Mathura, the university is named after Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay (philosopher of integral humanism). DUVASU was formed by separating the College of Veterinary Sciences from CSAUAT/NDUAT/SVBPUAT into a unified veterinary university.
DUVASU has 2 colleges — College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (Mathura), College of Biotechnology (Mathura), Go-Vansh Anusandhan Sansthan (Cattle Research Centre). ICAR-accredited; recognised by Veterinary Council of India (VCI). The unique Go-Anusandhan Sansthan focuses on indigenous cattle breed research.
UG admissions to BVSc & AH through UP CET-Vet (state quota 85%) and ICAR AIEEA UG (15%). PG/PhD through ICAR AIEEA PG / AICE-JRF.
