About Gautam Buddha University

Gautam Buddha University (GBU), established in 2002 (operational 2008) by the GBU Act of the UP state legislature, is a state university located at Greater Noida (Gautam Budh Nagar district). The university is named after Gautam Buddha and was established in the foothills of Yamuna Expressway with a 511-acre green campus.

GBU has 12 schools — Engineering, Management, Information & Communication Technology, Biotechnology, Buddhist Studies & Civilization, Vocational Studies & Applied Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, Law Justice & Governance, Computer Science, Environment Sciences, Industrial Research & Innovation, and Dharma & Civilization. NAAC A++ accredited.
