About Mohammad Ali Jauhar University
Mohammad Ali Jauhar University (MAJU), established in 2006 by an Act of the UP state legislature, is a private state university located at Jauhar Nagar, Rampur. The university is named after Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar — the freedom fighter, Khilafat Movement leader and founder of Jamia Millia Islamia. MAJU is one of UP's prominent Muslim-minority private universities.
MAJU has multiple faculties — Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Education, Law, Islamic Studies, Commerce and Mass Communication. Recognised by UGC.
