About Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), established in 2013 by an Act of the UP state legislature (continuing the legacy of MMM Engineering College Gorakhpur founded in 1962), is a state technological university located at Gorakhpur. The university is named after Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya (founder of BHU, freedom fighter). MMMUT is one of UP's premier engineering institutions and is autonomous from AKTU.

MMMUT has 8 departments — Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Biotechnology, and Information Technology Engineering. Offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and PhD programmes. NAAC accredited.
