About Narendra Deo University of Agriculture and Technology
Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology (NDUAT), established in 1974 by the NDUAT Act, is one of the four state agricultural universities of Uttar Pradesh. Located at Kumarganj, Faizabad (now Ayodhya), the university is named after Acharya Narendra Deva — the freedom fighter, scholar and former Vice-Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University. NDUAT serves the eastern UP region.
NDUAT has 7 colleges — College of Agriculture, College of Horticulture, College of Agricultural Engineering, College of Veterinary Science (separated to DUVASU now), College of Fisheries, College of Community Sciences, College of Forestry. Operates research stations and 12 KVKs across eastern UP. ICAR-accredited SAU.
UG admissions through UP CET-Agri (state quota 85%) and ICAR AIEEA UG (15%). PG/PhD through ICAR AIEEA PG / AICE-JRF.
