About Nehru Gram Bharati

Nehru Gram Bharati Vishwavidyalaya (NGBV), established in 2008 by an Act of the UP state legislature (continuing the legacy of Nehru Gram Bharati founded in 1962 as a rural higher education institute), is a private state university located at Kotwa-Jamuna Road, Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad). NGBV focuses on rural development, agriculture and Gandhian higher education.

Nehru Gram Bharati has multiple faculties — Agriculture, Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Education, Engineering & Technology, Management, Computer Applications and Hindi/Sanskrit Studies. Offers UG, PG, Diploma and PhD programmes. Recognised by UGC.
