About Teerthanker Mahaveer University
Teerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU), established in 2008 by an Act of the UP state legislature, is a private state university located at Delhi Road, Moradabad. The university is part of the Teerthanker Mahaveer Educational Trust founded by Suresh Jain. The university is named after Lord Mahaveer (24th Tirthankara of Jainism) and is one of UP's larger private universities with comprehensive programmes.
TMU has 14 colleges — Medicine (Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College & Research Centre, 1100-bed hospital), Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology, Computer Applications, Management, Education, Law, Architecture, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Hotel Management, and Liberal Arts. NAAC A+ accredited.
MBBS through NEET UG; B.Tech through JEE Main/TMU Entrance; LLB through CLAT/TMU; other through TMU Entrance + merit. CUET UG/PG accepted. PhD through TMU PhD entrance.
