About Quantum University
Quantum University, Roorkee was established in 2017 by Quantum Education Society under the Uttarakhand State Legislature Act. It evolved from Quantum School of Technology and Quantum Global Campus founded in 2008. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and is approved by AICTE, NCTE, PCI and BCI for its respective professional programmes. The campus is located on the Roorkee-Dehradun Highway (NH-58) at Mandawar, approximately 8 km from IIT Roorkee, spread over a 20-acre lush green tract.
Quantum University offers programmes through its Schools of Engineering, Computing, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Liberal Arts, Education and Mass Communication. Flagship programmes include BTech (CSE with AIML/Data Science/Cyber Security/Full Stack specialisations, ECE, EE, Mechanical, Civil), BCA/MCA, BBA/MBA, BPharm/MPharm/D.Pharm, BA-LLB/BBA-LLB/LLB, BEd, BJMC and PhD. Admissions accept JEE Main, Quantum-UEE, CAT/MAT/CMAT for MBA, CLAT for law, UKSEE for pharmacy and qualifying merit for most other programmes.
Quantum University is NAAC accredited and is positioned as a tech-forward private university near India's engineering hub of Roorkee. The university has academic partnerships with global edtech platforms including Microsoft, IBM, AWS Academy and Coursera for skill certifications integrated within degree programmes. Recruiters include Wipro, Infosys, TCS, HCL, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mahindra Comviva, Byju's and Vedantu, with consistent placement records for CSE and AIML specialisations. The campus offers separate hostels, sports complex, modern engineering labs and the Quantum Innovation & Incubation Cell.
