About Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University
Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University (RBBSU), Dehradun was established in 2016 by Subharti KKB Charitable Trust under the Uttarakhand State Legislature Act. It is the Dehradun-based sister institution of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut, named after revolutionary freedom fighter Rash Behari Bose. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and is approved by AICTE, BCI, NCTE, PCI and INC for its respective professional programmes. The campus is located on Chakrata Road, Dehradun.
RBBSU offers programmes through its Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Management, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing and Faculty of Liberal Arts. Programmes include BTech (CSE/Civil/Mechanical/EE/ECE), BCA/MCA, BBA/MBA, BPharm/MPharm/D.Pharm, BA-LLB/LLB/LLM, BSc Nursing/GNM, BEd/D.El.Ed/MEd, B.Sc/M.Sc, BA/MA, B.Com/M.Com and PhD. Admissions accept JEE Main, UKSEE, CLAT, university entrance (Subharti-EE), CAT/MAT/CMAT and qualifying merit for most programmes.
RBBSU operates within the wider Subharti family of universities, sharing branding and academic frameworks with the established Swami Vivekanand Subharti University in Meerut.
