About Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam (BRAU) is a state university established in 2008 at Etcherla, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. Named after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, the university serves the northern Andhra districts as the principal affiliating university for the region.
BRAU offers more than 54 UG, PG, integrated, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes across arts, sciences, commerce, management, law and education. UG admissions are largely merit-based on Class 12 marks; LLB / integrated BA LLB candidates are admitted through AP LAWCET; PG admission uses AUCET / AP PGCET as applicable.
