About Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh
Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh (CTUAP) is a public central university located in Vizianagaram (Salur Mandal), Andhra Pradesh. Established in 2019 under the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2019, CTUAP is one of two central tribal universities of India and was created in fulfilment of a commitment under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. The university focuses on tribal studies and the higher-education needs of the Scheduled Tribes of the Eastern Ghats region.
CTUAP offers UG, PG, PhD, diploma and certificate programmes in arts, science, social sciences, management, tribal studies and allied disciplines. As a young university operating from a transit campus, it is progressively expanding its programme catalogue and infrastructure with central-government funding.
CTUAP UG admissions are conducted through CUET UG and PG admissions through CUET PG. After the CUET results, candidates register on the CTUAP admission portal at ctuapcuet.samarth.edu.in for centralised university counselling and document verification.
