About Cluster University

Cluster University, Kurnool (CU Kurnool) is a state university established in 2020 by the AP Government, formed by clustering three premier institutions — Silver Jubilee Government College (lead), Government Degree College for Men and KVR Government College for Women — into a single autonomous university.

CU Kurnool offers 3-year UG (BA, B.Sc, B.Com) and 2-year PG (MA, M.Sc, M.Com) programmes alongside professional and certificate courses. UG admission is largely merit-based on Class 12 marks via the OAMDC web counselling and the SILVERCET-2026 (Silver Jubilee Common Entrance Test) for select programmes; the SILVERCET 2026 application window runs 7 April - 7 May 2026.

Eligibility

UG (3-year BA / B.Sc / B.Com): Pass in 10+2 from a recognised board with the prescribed subject combination; OAMDC merit / SILVERCET rank. PG (2-year MA / M.Sc / M.Com): Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline; AP PGCET / SILVERCET rank. Ph.D: Master's degree with UGC-prescribed aggregate.

How to Apply

   Read the CU Kurnool / SILVERCET notification
   Visit clusteruniversitykurnool.ac.in for the 2026-27 admission notification with programme-wise eligibility, fee structure and SILVERCET schedule.

   Apply online
   For SILVERCET, apply between 7 April and 7 May 2026. UG general degree applicants register on the OAMDC web counselling portal once Class 12 results are out.

   Appear for SILVERCET / submit Class 12 marks
   Sit SILVERCET-2026 as per schedule, or submit Class 12 marks for OAMDC merit ranking.

   Counselling and admission
   Participate in CU Kurnool / OAMDC web counselling, exercise course options and confirm allotment by paying the admission fee.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for eligible candidates at this university.

AP Jagananna Vidya Deevena, Vasathi Deevena, SC/ST/BC/EBC post-matric scholarships through APSCHE.

Reservations

AP State Reservation: SC 15%, ST 6%, BC-A 7%, BC-B 10%, BC-C 1%, BC-D 7%, BC-E 4%, EWS 10%; PwBD 5% horizontal. 85% local plus 15% non-local.
