About Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University
Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University (DAHUU) is a state university located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, established in 2016 by the AP Government to promote higher education in Urdu medium and to honour the legacy of Urdu litterateur Maulvi Abdul Haq.
The university offers UG, PG and research programmes with a focus on Urdu language, literature, social sciences, commerce and education. Admission to PG programmes is primarily through AP PGCET, while professional programmes use AP ICET / AP EAPCET as relevant. The university coordinates its academic calendar with APSCHE.
