About Krishna University

Krishna University, Machilipatnam is a state university established in 2008 by the AP Government, headquartered in Machilipatnam (Bandar) in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. The university serves as the principal affiliating university for colleges in the Krishna and adjoining districts.

Krishna University offers UG, PG, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes through its constituent and affiliated colleges. Admissions are conducted through the Krishna University Common Entrance Test (KRUCET) and other AP State CETs — AP EAPCET, AP ICET, AP PGCET, AP PGECET and AP LAWCET — as applicable to the programme.
