About Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Andhra Pradesh

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Andhra Pradesh (RGUKT-AP) is a state university established by the AP Government to provide high-quality technical education for meritorious rural students. RGUKT operates a unique 6-year integrated B.Tech model that combines a 2-year pre-university (PUC) programme with a 4-year B.Tech, admitting students directly after Class 10.

RGUKT-AP runs four IIIT campuses — Nuzvid, Idupulapaya (Kadapa), Srikakulam (Etcherla) and Ongole — with a combined intake spanning Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering. Selection is 100% on the basis of Class 10 (SSC) merit; there is no entrance test. Deprivation points are awarded to candidates from government schools and rural backgrounds.

RGUKT-AP admits students to its 6-year integrated B.Tech programme directly after Class 10 (SSC) on the basis of Class 10 (SSC / ICSE / CBSE) marks. There is no entrance test. Deprivation points are awarded for government school education and rural / disadvantaged backgrounds.

Eligibility

6-year Integrated B.Tech: Pass in Class 10 / SSC / ICSE / CBSE board examination from a recognised board; selection is based on SSC marks plus deprivation points. The programme starts with a 2-year PUC followed by a 4-year B.Tech.

    Visit rgukt.in / rguktap.admissions.ac.in and read the integrated B.Tech 2026 notification for eligibility, deprivation points and seat matrix across the four IIIT campuses (Nuzvid, Idupulapaya, Srikakulam, Ongole).

    Register and apply online
    Apply between 1 May and 30 May 2026. Pay the application fee — ₹400 (General / OBC / EWS) and ₹250 (SC / ST) — and upload SSC marks memo, caste certificate and income certificate.

    Provisional selection list
    RGUKT publishes the provisional selection list on 12 June 2026 based on SSC GPA / marks plus deprivation points. There is no entrance examination.

    Document verification and reporting
    Selected candidates report to the allotted IIIT campus for document verification, certificate uploading and fee payment to confirm admission to the 6-year integrated B.Tech.

AP State Reservation: SC 15%, ST 6%, BC-A 7%, BC-B 10%, BC-C 1%, BC-D 7%, BC-E 4%, EWS 10%; PwBD 5% horizontal. RGUKT additionally awards deprivation points for government school education, rural background and family economic status.
