About Rayalaseema University

Rayalaseema University, Kurnool (RU) is a state university established by the AP Government in 2008 to serve the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. The university is the principal affiliating body for colleges in Kurnool and adjoining districts and offers UG, PG, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes through its constituent and affiliated colleges.

Admission to UG B.Tech is through AP EAPCET, while PG admissions use AP PGCET, AP ICET (MBA / MCA) and AP PGECET (M.Tech) as applicable. UG arts, science and commerce programmes are largely admitted through merit at affiliated colleges via OAMDC. LLB and integrated BA LLB programmes use AP LAWCET.

AP EAPCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) is conducted by APSCHE for UG B.Tech / B.Pharm / Agriculture admission. AP PGCET, AP ICET and AP PGECET are used for PG programmes. AP LAWCET is used for LLB and integrated BA LLB.
