About Sri Krishnadevaraya University
Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU), Anantapur is a state university established in 1981, named after the celebrated Vijayanagara emperor Sri Krishnadevaraya. The university is one of the principal affiliating universities of the Rayalaseema region and offers UG, PG, professional, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes across arts, sciences, commerce, management, education and engineering.
PG admissions to SKU are coordinated through AP PGCET conducted by APSCHE; AP PGCET 2026 has been notified for examinations on 5 May and 8-11 May 2026 across 17 participating universities including SKU. Professional UG / PG programmes use AP EAPCET, AP ICET and AP PGECET as relevant.
