Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) is a private deemed university with its main campus at Prasanthi Nilayam (Puttaparthi), Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh, plus campuses at Brindavan (Bengaluru), Anantapur and Muddenahalli. Established in 1981 by Sri Sathya Sai Baba and granted Deemed-to-be-University status the same year, SSSIHL is a fully residential institution offering value-based education entirely free of tuition.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for eligible candidates at this university.

SSSIHL provides entirely free tuition for all admitted students — there are no programme fees. Free residential accommodation, mess and basic care are also provided. The institution is supported by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust. Government of India Post-Matric scholarships for SC/ST/OBC/EWS through the National Scholarship Portal are accepted for living-allowance support.

Reservations

As a private deemed university, SSSIHL follows its own internal admission policy. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD candidates receive eligibility relaxations. SSSIHL admits both Indian and select international students; gender-segregated campuses (boys at Prasanthi Nilayam/Brindavan, girls at Anantapur) — applicants apply to the appropriate campus.
