About Vikrama Simhapuri University
Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU), Nellore is a state university established in 2008 by the AP Government, named after the Pallava emperor Simhavishnu (Simhapuri). The university serves the Nellore region as the principal affiliating university and operates three constituent colleges along with affiliated colleges across the district.
PG admission to VSU is conducted through the Vikrama Simhapuri University PG Common Entrance Test (VSUPGCET) with the application window for 2026 extended to 17 March 2026 and the entrance scheduled for 2 May 2026. Application fee is ₹500 (General) and ₹400 (SC/ST). Several PG programmes also accept AP PGCET scores; UG admissions use OAMDC for general degree courses.
