About Central University of South Bihar
Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is a Central University with its main campus at SH-7, Karhara, Panchanpur Road, Gaya, Bihar, established by the Central Universities Act, 2009 of the Indian Parliament. Originally functioning from a temporary campus at Patna, the university shifted to its permanent 300-acre campus at Gaya in 2020.
CUSB offers UG (4-year FYUGP), PG, M.Phil, Ph.D and integrated programmes through 9 schools and 30 departments — covering humanities, social sciences, sciences, commerce, management, law, education and computational sciences. UG and PG admission is conducted entirely through CUET UG and CUET PG (NTA), with the university also offering integrated 5-year programmes.
CUET UG 2026 is being conducted from 11 to 31 May 2026. The CUSB 2026-27 admission notification, programme list and counselling schedule are released on the official portal at cusb.ac.in.
