About Dr. C.V. Raman University

Dr. C.V. Raman University (CVRU), Bihar is a state private university located at Bhagwanpur, Vaishali / Patna in Bihar, established in 2018 by the Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bihar Act of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. The university honours Nobel laureate Sir C.V. Raman and is part of the broader CVRU network with sister campuses in Chhattisgarh and elsewhere.

CVRU Bihar offers UG, PG, Diploma and Ph.D programmes across arts, sciences, commerce, management, computer applications, education, law, agriculture and engineering.
