About Gopal Narayan Singh University

Gopal Narayan Singh University (GNSU) is a state private university located at Jamuhar village in Rohtas district, Bihar (near Sasaram), established in 2018 under the GNSU Act of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. The university combines academic and professional / medical education and operates the Narayan Medical College and Hospital on the same campus.

GNSU offers more than 72 programmes — UG, PG, Diploma and Ph.D — including BBA, B.Sc, B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing and allied health programmes at UG level, and MBA, M.Sc, M.Com, LLM, M.Pharm, MD/MS at PG level. MBBS admission is through NEET UG; BDS through NEET UG; PG medical through NEET PG; MBA through MAT / CAT; PG academic programmes also accept CUET PG. Other programmes use merit + GNSU entrance / interview.

GNSU is approved by UGC, BCI, NMC (MCI), INC, AICTE and PCI. The 2026-27 admission cycle is open at gnsu.ac.in. NEET UG 2026 is scheduled for 3 May 2026.
