About Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU) is a Central Agricultural University located at Pusa in Samastipur district of Bihar, originally established in 1970 as Rajendra Agricultural University and converted into a Central Agricultural University in 2016 through an Act of Parliament. RPCAU is the second Central Agricultural University in India after CAU Imphal.

RPCAU offers UG, PG and Ph.D programmes across agriculture, horticulture, dairy technology, fisheries, agricultural engineering and home science / community science. UG admission is through ICAR AIEEA UG (NTA, 100% seats); PG admission is through ICAR AIEEA PG; Ph.D admission is through the AIU AICE Ph.D test, conducted on behalf of ICAR.
