About Chettinad Academy of Research and Education

Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE), established in 2004 as Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 2008 under the UGC Act, is a private deemed university located at Kelambakkam, Kancheepuram district. The institute is part of the Chettinad Health City Group (founded by the Chettinad family) and has a strong medical focus.
