B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology (Crescent Institute), established in 1984 as BS Abdur Rahman Crescent Engineering College and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 2008 under the UGC Act, is a private deemed university located at GST Road, Vandalur, Chennai. The institute is part of the BS Abdur Rahman Family-founded Crescent Trust and is one of India's leading Muslim-minority engineering institutes.
