About Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute

Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute (Dr. MGR ERI), established in 1988 as Dr. MGR Engineering College and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 2003 under the UGC Act, is a private deemed university located at Maduravoyal, Chennai. The institute is named after Dr. M.G. Ramachandran (former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu) and is part of the AVIT (formerly Adhiparasakthi) Group.

Dr. MGR ERI has multiple faculties — Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Education, Law, Hotel Management and Liberal Arts. NAAC accredited.
