About Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research

Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER), established in 1986 as Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 2004 under the UGC Act, is a private deemed university located at West K.K. Nagar, Chennai. The institute is part of the Meenakshi Sundararajan Educational Trust.

MAHER has multiple faculties — Medicine (Meenakshi Medical College & Research Institute), Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Computer Applications, Management. NAAC accredited; medical programmes by NMC.
