Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology (PRIST), established in 1985 as Ponnaiyah Ramajayam College of Engineering and declared a Deemed-to-be University in 2008 under the UGC Act, is a private deemed university located at Periyar Road, Thanjavur. The institute is part of the Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Group of Institutions and has multiple campuses (Thanjavur HQ, Vallam, Puducherry, Madurai, Chennai).
